Hummusbird is fashion, decor, food, travel, and all the lovely little things in between!

Hey guys, I’m Brigette — Hummusbird’s creator! I’m a 24-year-old hummus-obsessed, thrift-shopping, lace-wearing, beer-drinking, video-making, nature-loving redhead. I love everything about a lot of things, and I’m here to share little bits of life with any and all who feel like stopping by!

  2. Hello! I found your blog while tinkering around with my Twenty Eleven theme settings and yours was put up as an example. Very nice! I love hummus, too, and make my own every Friday night to enjoy with my husband (and a bottle of wine).

  3. Your blog…it’s awesome. Really whimsical…it kind of reminds me of the imagery used in Marie Antoinette movie (the one with Kirsten Dunst?)
Anyway I’m on a tangent now.
I’m trying to get one started so I can apply for the STA World Internship. Got any tips? Thanks!

    • Thanks so much, Amma! You actually don’t even need a blog to apply for the internship, but I guess it couldn’t hurt to have one! As for tips.. just be YOU. Don’t worry what you think other people want to see or hear. Create something that shows your personality and that you’re proud of!

  4. Your blog is great — very inspiring and beautiful. This is my first time to visit so I’m not sure if you’ve answered this before… but which thrift stores are your favorites and which ones do you shop most at?? I understand if it’s a secret but I would love to know!!! Thank you 🙂

    • Thanks so much! I usually shop at Island Thrift and a couple of others on Long Island, but I just moved to Philly, so I’ll be looking for some new ones here! I always find that the best thrift stores are in the suburbs, though — ones in the city are usually overpriced and overpicked!
